Well, I could tell you a lot of things about myself….
….that I was born in Memmingen /Germany, that I am a German/Italian interpreter and translator, which is the reason why I moved to Italy.
….that originally I intended to be here in Tuscany for 1 year in order to better my italian and instead I remained a bit longer, 35 years!
….that for 25 years I had been working as a Sourcing Director for an italian e-commerce company travelling often in USA, Europe and Asia!
….that I live in the countryside with my husband and my cat named ‘’Micio’’!
….that even after 35 years I am still enthralled with the Tuscan landscape and am simply in love with the olive tree!
….that I have always on special occasions such as birthdays or weddings for friends and family invented games or written small sketches!

Perhaps you are just curious to know how I became a celebrant for symbolic wedding ceremonies?
A friend and wedding planner asked me to write and deliver my first wedding speech. After that first wedding I decided to attend classes at a professional academy for celebrants in Berlin and in February 2019 I obtained my diploma as a celebrant from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Düsseldorf (IHK).
